Freelance Disclaimer

I am currently available to take on freelance projects! I’m always eager to tackle new projects & try new things. However, there are a few things you should know before choosing me for your project:

1. I charge for my time + my experience.

   I spent a long time and a lot of money to attend a good design school, earn a degree, and gain real life experience working in the field. That being said, I have set prices. There will be no negotiations.

   I also don’t do friends and family discounts. So don’t ask. :-)

2. I don’t work for “exposure.”

   I work for money. Because rent is expensive and sometimes, I like to treat myself to a nice meal.

3. I will not send any of the final files until I am paid for the work.

   Being ripped off without being paid SUCKS. So if we end up working together, I won’t be sending the final files until I’ve been paid.

   Before we begin working together, you will give me an idea of what you are looking for and I will send you an estimate. If you want to move forward, I will ask you to sign a contract (where you will also find all of this information). Once the work is completed and approved, I’ll send an invoice, you will pay the invoice, and then I will send the files.

4. If you decide to go with another designer after the project has already been started, you still owe me for the work I’ve completed.

   I would love to be the one to help you with your project, however, sometimes people don’t always click. If along the way, we decide to part ways before the project is finished, you will still owe me for the work I’ve already completed/the time spent working on it and I will own the work.
